Girls just wanna have fun...

I just worked out that in the last two days, I have made 31 pieces of art.
Yes, you did read it right, 31.
Ok, I know lots of them are really small, ATC (playing card) size,
but all the same 31 is going some.

It's been really great, I have been able to sit and make (along with my Little Miss doing her own thing) and the time has just flown.
It's been so nice to get 'lost in art' again, especially after I was beginning to feel as though my mojo had gone.  I think that I can now say that it has well and truly returned, so watch this space for lots more stuff.

One of the things that I did yesterday was to make an altered book.  It's only the second one that I have done (remember my vision journal?) but I'm really proud of it.

The thing now is to decide wether I should sell it, or send it off to Stampington to see if they would publish it in one of their publications.  (this is one of my wishes for 2012 so I'm thinking maybe I should).
Anyway, here are the pictures, and a mini video.  Let me know what you think.

LOOK...

well, we are FABULOUS aren't we?

front cover (before I added the text).  Can you see the shape of the cover?
I used a baby's board book, they are really sturdy and don't have tons of pages.

On each of the spreads I added a quote from Oprah,
she says some wonderfully inspiring things.
This heart is inside the first page.

This chick is in the heart spread.

This one shows the collage background that I made, I even added some of Little Miss' scribbles and scraps.

and finally,
the back cover...

here's the mini video so that you can see how it looks together.

So, do I sell or send off?

Before you leave your little comment, here are a few of the other 31 pieces that I made.

this one is 3.5"x3.5" on thick card.  She'll be in Etsy sometime this week.

and this is just some of the 19 chicks that I made,
they will be going into Etsy this week too.

It's a rainy day today,
what's a girl to do?

Have some fun of course.
